Experiencia fantástica: Roberto and his team poured their heart and soul into creating an enchanting wedding that left our guests in awe — they still talk about our wedding even though it's been 3 months now. During the wedding planning process every time we flew to Oaxaca to plan our wedding, Roberto welcomed us with warm hospitality and made wedding planning fun. Not only did his team handle the logistical aspects of the wedding, but they also put together a welcome dinner/cocktail event for the night before our wedding and a goodbye brunch for the day after our wedding. From managing vendors and timelines to coordinating logistics and handling unforeseen challenges, they tackled it all with grace and poise. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day, knowing that everything was in the capable hands of our wedding superhero. I'll never forget walking into our wedding venue and seeing all the exquisite floral arrangements to the elegant table settings. I also let Roberto freestyle on my bouquet and it was absolutely stunning (he drives all the way to Mexico City to get the flowers!) We cannot thank Roberto and his team enough for their exceptional work in making our wedding a truly unforgettable weekend. Highly recommended!

Experiencia negativa: If you're American and trying to plan a wedding, steer clear of this place. Obviously Roberto's weddings are beautiful, but the part you need to worry about is if something goes wrong that is out of your control. We chose a date and paid the holding deposit. That is all that we did. There was no booking, no down payments to the venues, nothing. He was always "very busy" and wouldn't give me updates on venues, vendors, etc. We had 3 phone conversations, and then we realized a wedding was not possible. He kept our entire $1000 deposit and was extremely snarky, catty, and passive aggressive. Absolutely so unprofessional, which was really shocking because when things were "good," he was so nice. I was like "is this the same person?" He'll absolutely turn on you if something bad happens. He won't try to rebook something, do what he can to keep you in high spirits about your wedding, etc. He'll just tell you that he's keeping your deposit and it's entirely your fault. Thinking of planning another wedding in Mexico feels awful after the experience we had. If $1000 is nothing to you, by all means plan at your own risk.

From the moment we met him, he settled our nerves. His genuine warmth and the time he took to truly understand our vision for our special day were truly remarkable. We had A LOT of ideas and Roberto was always accommodating and willing to offer his professional perspective. On the wedding day, he and his team transformed our wedding venue into a magical place we could not have imagined. From the stunning floral arrangements in the fountain to our table settings, every detail was carefully curated. His work surpassed our expectations and our guests, local and foreign, were stunned. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Roberto Santiago highly enough. If you're searching for someone who will go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience, look no further. Experiencia fantástica: As the groom, Rob and his team planned and executed a wonderful wedding for us. They are true rockstars. We had visited Oaxaca before, but only did wedding planning via remote sessions. This meant we trusted a lot of Rob’s suggestions on music, food, calenda, and decorations. He and his team delivered extraordinarily. Rob has decades of experience as a florist, and he nailed exactly what we wanted on flowers as well. We had some very last minute needs the week of the wedding, and Rob, Monsty and team accommodated with professionalism. Look no further for your planning needs- this team is spectacular.

Experiencia fantástica: We are so, so thrilled with how our Oaxacan wedding turned out. Roberto and his team—especially Thalia, Denisse, and Montserrat—are true professionals with the best connections and vendor relationships in the city, which made planning a destination wedding so much less stressful than it could've been. I put my full trust in Roberto's eye for design, wedding know-how, and vendor picks and I don't regret one bit of it. From special surprises (fireworks during our first dance?! Wow) to personal touches (making sure my elderly grandmother could see our calenda from a special rooftop table) to picking battles (our venue was being a bit frustrating, but Roberto's team advocated for us each step of the way), each moment was made wonderful. Experiencia fantástica: Having a destination wedding is not easy and requires a lot of trust that everything will come together as planned. Working with Roberto isn’t your run of the mill resort wedding where you check the boxes. Each and every detail was custom to our character and he came up with so many new ideas to make our wedding unique. None of our guests had ever been to a wedding like it. Our process started with some initial interviews with planners in Oaxaca and we loved the immediate connection we had with Roberto. We went down to Oaxaca early in our planning process to meet and see venues/caterers, and we’re not expecting the amazing trip we had. Roberto rolled out the red carpet and showed us a part of Oaxaca we would not otherwise understand, spending all day with us feasting on multi course tasting menus and cocktails to also showing us around the city and markets. We left with a new friend, a reinvigorated love for Oaxaca and a real understanding of how the pieces would come together. Do not skip a visit during planning. Throughout the more detailed parts of the planning as the wedding approached there were some hiccups that come with destination weddings but he helped us navigate these issues professionally and always helped us understand the local reasons why. There are obviously some big differences between how business in the US and Mexico is done, and understanding this can be difficult when you aren’t there so it’s important to have Roberto there to make sense of it. Every time we spoke to Roberto any anxieties or stresses we had, he mitigated. My wife and I were seriously injured in a crash days before we came down which almost canceled the whole thing. One call with Roberto and we knew we could trust him to make the impossible happen. He helped us with access which is very limited in Oaxaca, rented a wheel chair which my wife needed and helped change accommodations that better suited our situation. We felt 100% confident that Roberto would do what he needed to do to make our stay amazing while in our vulnerable state. When we arrived in Mexico and met his staff, everyone was so helpful and accommodating to us and our friends and family. Some of our guests were not as well traveled so Roberto and his staff made sure everyone was safe and felt comfortable. We organized airport pickups and multiple day trips for guests with the help of Roberto’s driver Luis and he was apart of our family by the end of our stay. Talia was there to help guide us and helped the bridesmaids get ready. Just very hands on all the way through. Arriving to the venues on the wedding day was mind blowing. The scale of the decor was world class and all hand made in the mountains of Oaxaca and each detail had meaning to us. We’ve never seen anything like it, and likely will never again. All of the vendors Roberto suggested we’re professional and created the perfect ambiance for the evening. Roberto stayed until the very last minute to make sure everything went perfect, and personally drove my wife and me to our bridal suite to close the night. White glove service. Overall there are going to be challenges if you’re a foreigner getting married in Oaxaca which you should come prepared for, but this is why you hire Roberto. Even if the worst happens and you are seriously injured days before your wedding, he will be there to make it the best it can be.

Experiencia fantástica: Roberto has so much knowledge within Oaxaca City and its surroundings. We wanted to make our wedding something unique, unusal, and unforgettable within the budget, and we made it happen! Roberto has the experience to negotiate, work within the tight timeline and deliver. We had some difficulties with our venue and a vendor and Roberto was always backing us up for the best possible outcome. The fact that he is bilingual was a game changer for my husband and I, we always appreciated the communication, his 24/7 availability, and patience. Gracias Roberto!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, where to even begin. We HIGHLY recommend Roberto and his team!!! Roberto and his team went absolutely above and beyond to create our dream destination wedding! Roberto is very detail oriented, attentive, creative and an absolutely delight to work with! With Roberto being both a wedding planner and floral designer, he made sure that everything went smoothly and designed the most beautiful floral arrangements / greenery structures we could've ever imagined! His lighting layout and creative design was incredible. He wow'ed us with beautiful and thoughtful surprise details and touches at the reception. He took care of every single request we had (which was a lot considering our entire group was coming from the US + didn't speak Spanish + our wedding was being held during the largest festival of the year, Guelaguetza). To say he is even keeled and has an ever-present calming presence in the midst of wedding craziness is an understatement. From the initial planning process all the way until the end, he over-delivered. As an example, we flew for a long weekend to meet him in person and get the planning process started. He had more food tastings scheduled for us than we could ever have imagined, he showed us numerous hotels (and eventually liaised between the hotels and our guests for their bookings). He took us on an excursion to see the ruins, Monte Alban, and Hierve el Agua. He even planned an impromptu photo shoot for us during the day! We are so grateful we hired Roberto as he made the entire process not only seamless but actually quite fun for us, which is uncommon from what we hear. :) Having said all this, we would hire him again in a heartbeat! And from us to you Roberto, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!! You made our wedding incredible and unforgettable. And as our guests said,  ’it was the best wedding they had ever been to!” We couldn't agree more. :)
