Experiencia fantástica: I planned a destination wedding in a venue, sight unseen. A little scary, yes but I had nothing to worry about after I hired our wedding planner Belen. I didn't require much as we weren't decorating the entire brewery but I did need a few things...flowers, coursage, boutonniers, officiant, a cake, a bit of set up, arch...all I can say is the inspo pics I provided literally came to life. Everything i requested was made beautifully. I had a custom arch made with fresh flowers which turned out spectacular...my bouquet was stunning and the cake gorgeous and delicious. Highly recommend, literally we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I got married in April and had our wedding in Sayulita. Karina Lopez is absolutely wonderful to work with and helped make the planning seamless for me. We used MAC’s 360-Photo Booth service at Karina’s recommendation and it was a hit with all of our guests! As an additional surprise, I opted for the 3 minute firework display and the pyro team did not disappoint! It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. I’m so grateful to Karina and her team for making it special.

Experiencia fantástica: Contracted them for a fire dancing show for my fathers’ 80th birthday. They were flexible, cooperative, easy to work with, very pleasant and the show was incredible. Everything at the party said it was the best they had seen. Most people had seen multiple like shows regularly and praised this one as one of a kind. No idea how I’ll raise the bar for his 90s, but that is a good problem to have. Thank you!!! You made the party extra special!!

I do not know about Mac Event Group as a whole because she is the only person from their group that I worked with. Our original wedding planner with a different company unfortunately did not do a good job and Belen saved the day! She started working with us about 6 months before our wedding in Puerto Vallarta and she did a great job. On the ceremony day we didn't have to worry about a thing because her and her husband managed everything. Any future events I have in that area I will hire her every time!

Experiencia fantástica: Hired for a private fireworks display and was so impressed with what they put together. 3 minutes of non-stop fireworks, with quite a few very large ones! Great value for the price, and great way to show someone you love that they're special. They take care of permitting, setup, etc. for you and are excellent at communicating through the whole process. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful experience with Karina Lopez. She was my main point of contact. I live in Los Angeles and she was very attentive to my calls and text messages while she lives in Mexico. My wedding day turned out exactly how I wanted it because she was so accommodating. I was hesitant at first to send money because the owners home is in Texas but she put me in contact with her to assure me it was not a scam and she gave me the details of the company and how long she has been an event planner, etc. I felt very comfortable after speaking with her. The individuals who met me on my wedding day to set up were incredible. We had a bit of a problem getting access to the beach from a private resident to the public beach but all three of the workers didn’t hesitate to carry all of the setups through the jungle. They set up our center circle piece so beautifully. I was so impressed and happy they were so accommodating. They even stayed and watched the area for us to return to while we got ready. My only complaint is that I do wish I was notified that the violinist had another event to play directly after ours. I booked her for 45 min but was thinking if we went over or wanted to go over we can discuss and pay extra but she left before our ceremony was over. The communication with her around the song I wanted to play was also lacking. But all in all was happy. Would highly recommend using them if you are on a budget and are planning your own wedding. I work in the travel/event industry and I can honestly say that I have never received the level of service in Canada/USA as I did in Mexico with Belen! She was with me every step of the way! She didn’t even judge me, when the day before the wedding I asked if she could contact the local McDonalds to see if I could order 250 cheeseburgers lol she may have laughed at me but she called right away and got it all organized for me! We were planning a destination wedding in Puerta Vallarta and it was getting pretty stressful until I was referred to Belen with MAC event group from my resort coordinator. She was absolutely amazing to work with. She responded very quickly and gave helpful input when we needed help picking things. We sent her photos of what we liked and she handled it from there. She was also very accommodating when we made any changes. Belen handled the decor, cake, flowers, a dance floor on the beach with string lighting and the set up while working with the resort's coordinator to get it all done. I'm not sure how it would have turned out with out her and her team. She made everything a breeze and the wedding turning out amazing, it far exceeded our expectations. Our guests also gave tons of compliments how beautiful everything turned out. STUNNING! If you are debating if it's worth it, it absolutely is!

We had our event at an all-inclusive resort, and rented a photo booth from Vallarta Rentals. Our guests were OBSESSED with the inflatable booth, it all turned out so perfect. Looking through the digital copies right now, and I want to cry. I loved working with this company, and I would use them again and again if I could!

We had a small party for 15 close friends in Puerto Vallarta in Jan 2022, and I booked everything long distance via text and email (tables, chairs, cubiertos, etc). It was a SUPERB experience. Macdai and Teresa were detailed, helpful, and super helpful with last minute adjustments. For our three hour party, we had a professional set up and service including lights, wireless mics, and three person staff. They were able to play every song in English we requested. I was concerned that it was going to get cancelled due to a thunderstorm, but she assured me that they can still do it (even with some rain). Belen actually met me at the resort just prior to the event to oversee everything and make sure that all of my concerns were addressed. She was super friendly and very accommodating. The fireworks went off without a hitch and my wife was completely thrilled along with the huge family party that we had (16 of us) to enjoy the show. Needless to say that I scored major brownie points with the wifey and got multiple compliments afterwards. Belen, I can't thank you enough for giving us a memorable moment. That’s super rare but I can tell you the musicians arrived early, came fully prepared with the equipment they needed, were super friendly and approachable, and played their hearts out!

I had been planning my destination 50th Party for a year! I hired them for the DJ, Dance Floor, Mariachis, and I also ordered the number 50 as a decor. We had 55 guests and everything was on point and wonderful. Not to mention, it was an All white party and the Mariachis were dressed in IVORY !!!! Not to mention they were excellent. The DJ kept the crowd dancing. Macdai took care of coordinating with the hotel and I did not have to worry about a thing, The set up and tear down were timely. OVERALL exceptional service, and great talent, made for an unforgettable event.

We decided to have our Hindu style wedding in Puerto Vallarta to get away from the cold weather in the Northeast US. We chose our venue, and after a less than stellar experience with the hotel wedding staff, we decided to explore options on using our own vendors. I found MacEvents online after searching and I can say working with Macdai was the smartest decision I’ve ever made. Macdai was a saint to deal with, and had limitless patience even with the constant tweaks and changes my now-wife made over the course of a year. Despite the distance, she held our hands throughout the entire process and was available via text, whatsapp, email, and phone to address any concerns or questions we had. Working with her provided us a central point of contact for building a Mandap, floral arrangements, DJ, lighting, tables, chairs, centerpieces, and entertainment including a mariachi band, fire performers, and fireworks. Due to prior commitments, Macdai was not able to attend the wedding in Puerto Vallarta but sent her assistant Rosie to ensure everything went off flawlessly. Rosie was with us onsite for literally the entire day of the wedding and ensured everything went off without a hitch. To top it all off, MacEvent’s prices were way more reasonable than the hotels and she still provided better service and care. To say we are eternally grateful for everything Macdai and her team did for us for our special day is an understatement. If you are planning a wedding in Mexico, do yourself a favor and reach out to MacEvents. You’ll be glad you did.
