When we decided to turn our vacation into a wedding ceremony, we had a short time to pull it off and wanted to keep the experience a secret. Experiencia fantástica: We wanted to publicly acknowledge the amazing job that Robin and Vallarta Vows did for us. Our son and his fiancée came last week with our wonderful grandson and they had already seen two attempts at a wedding come and go due to life circumstances. We asked if they might want to get married on the beach here if we could get plans together and of course the said YES!! So we began looking for a wedding planner who could work with us on a spontaneous wedding . Well, Robin called us almost immediately and launched into action to help us organize a stunningly beautiful wedding on Conchas Chinas beach at sunset . Mother Nature provided a wonderful backdrop and Robin had set up a lovely arch with flowers in their colors . All of this with only about two days to plan!!! The kids were thrilled and had the best wedding they could have imagined and are so happy. We ended up getting a pastor taco cart to come to our condo pool area as well and all had a tasty meal !! Experiencia fantástica: We are from So Cal and wanted to renew our wedding vows for our 30th Anniversary. Being in CA and trying to arrange this in Mexico was challenging and scary. We contacted Robin from Vallarta Vows, she was ready and willing to help us arrange everything for this day. She did a fantastic job! She communicated often and well. Which put our minds to ease. Experiencia fantástica: April 11 2024 My longtime girlfriend and I decided last Tuesday to get married during the eclipse at our friends condo in Puerto Vallarta I opened the Internet and found Robin’s company Valarta Vows and I said let me give her a call thinking that there was no chance that I would be able to pull off a wedding such as this figuring everybody else had the same idea, but not only did Robin come through for me, and show up early so exactly at noon at the height of the eclipse she officiated my wedding, and also she brought beautiful flowers and a professional photographer with her. I have to say I was a little leery of doing business with somebody I found on the Internet in Mexico, but I had absolutely no problems. Experiencia positiva: I want to start off by saying that Robin helped to deliver an amazing wedding for us. The food, dessert, flowers, entertainment...everything was beautiful and we couldn't have been happier. The main issue we had was with Robin herself and how she communicated. If you didn't respond to her immediately, she would send message after message that often didn't make a lot sense. Almost every time we spoke, she asked what we discussed the previous time and it felt unorganized. We appreciate the work Robin put in for our wedding and the services provided, but I don't think we'd use her again.

Experiencia negativa: Let me start by saying the services Robin provides are wonderful; from the hair team, food and flowers were top of the line and were simply amazing. I would use them over and over again and it was simply beautiful work. The DJ was probably the one area in which we were not pleased-didn't play our list and did not announce anything as discussed. Our guests missed out on activities because they did not get announced. More of my review, which I am surprised more reviews do not mention this, was the way Robin presented herself. Yes, she was helpful in knowing what we need, but her tone and demeanor were very off putting and rude. My husband and I did not look forward to our calls with her because we felt she would judge or give attitude. Wedding planning was new to us, guidance is expected, but she just went straight in and it became overwhelming. Even after these discussions and confirming plans, she would ask me multiple times about what we chose to do for the wedding. In my opinion, why do we have meetings if you cannot remember what we discussed. Her organization was completely scattered and pricing/charges were incorrect. As a professional myself, I would have given the most professional work and I did not feel that from her--texts felt like they were abruptly sent and did not make sense most of the time. My guests shared with me how unhelpful she was at the wedding and commented on the attitude. When you know a group of people are not from the area, why would you not assist as best you can. Even during reception prep, she did not offer any help to us even after we asked...to me you would lend a hand without question and that seemed simply below her. When we asked to problem solve small things, her answer was to throw money at it. We did our due diligence to make sure all parties involved were taken care of...she on the other hand questioned that and from our view, she should explain how things work properly and not last minute. When we used outside services, she snubbed us for not going with her connections...but little did she know we used services to us that had a family connection and meant something to our wedding. As much as we enjoyed most of the day and services were beautiful, we would never work with Robin again.

Experiencia fantástica: Contacted Robin/Vallarta Vows by a random web search for a wedding planner in Puerto Vallarta. I was nervous and did not know what to expect, but from the beginning Robin has been very communicative. Although our original plan to get married in May 2020, the pandemic put a long hold on our plans. Robin was great patiently waited for us to be able to finally schedule something, and so on December 2021 our ceremony was realized. Everything from the setting to the arch to the table settings were beautiful. Pictures and video came out perfect and we are both beyond happy with the whole experience! Thank again for making our vision come true!

Experiencia fantástica: Robin has been an amazing wedding planner. We had been exchanging text messages and making phone calls and she understood exactly how I wanted the wedding to be. Her wonderful hospitality has made me smile and she made sure that I was getting the wedding of my dreams. I am not a very creative person and robin has helped me out by showing me ideas and her ideas were spot on. The flower arrangements were beautiful that I cried walking down the aisle looking at my husband to be and the beautiful arrangements around me. Robin understood what I wanted and it was a pleasure working with her and her assistant Guiermo. The mariachi band were also amazing with the wonderful music that they played at the end of the ceremony. Now let me tell you about the food! For appetizers, we had chicken fajitas, quesadillas, chicken mole empanadas, chips and salsa, all were hitting the spot but the chicken mole empanadas were my absolute favorite! Our main course were pork with green sauce, beans and rice! Everything was spot on and don’t even get me started on the margaritas! The passion fruit margaritas were my absolute favorite. I lost count of how many I’ve drank but I recommend you get yourself a passion fruit margarita. Djs playlist was amazing as well as everyone was dancing. Everything was perfect about this wedding and I have Robin and guiermo to thank!

Experiencia fantástica: I know that it is scary to plan your wedding with someone you have not met in person and have to do everything over email and phone. It's also scary planning that with someone you don't know, IN MEXICO... However, I would not let that worry get in the way of planning your dream wedding! I just had my wedding with Vallarta Vows on June 6th 2018, and it was PERFECT! I cannot stress it enough how great everything was! Robin is amazing, she and I had gone back and forth for about 8 months via email and phone, she listens to everything you're wanting, and she doesn't push you to do anything you don't want. We had taken our family and close friends on a cruise to Mexico, and had the wedding when we were at port! When w got to the venue, everything was already set up and ready to go, and the bridal party was able to change at the venue. We also chose to use their photographer, and he was so nice and took great pictures! Thank you Vallarta Vows, for making my dream wedding possible, and so easy!

From the minute I emailed my inquiry to the minute the service was over Robin went over and above. We did a surprise vow renewal for my parents 50th anniversary and everything was perfect and what we wanted. Experiencia fantástica: I reached out to Robin (since she’s a wedding planner) because I was desperate to locate my parents marriage license. They got married in puerto Vallarta in 1985 and we couldn’t find the certificate anywhere where we live in California. We tried many city and county buildings with no luck! Robin said she could help locate it with some basic information and amazingly she did! She sent photos for verification too! My review may not be about wedding planning, but I can say she helped me and my family out tremendously! This may not be something she does on a normal basis, but I’m grateful she offered to help!

Experiencia fantástica: I can not thank Robin and Vallarta Vows enough for putting together an absolutely amazing experience for my now husband, myself and our guests. Villa Celeste was the venue that Robin suggested and she hit the ball out the park with this beautiful oceanfront villa. Not only did we host the wedding and reception there but we also stayed for the week with some of the members of our wedding party and friends. Robin was easy to work with and took all the stress out of planning for us. I did not think planning a destination wedding could be as seamless as she made it for us, but it was! Robin made our wedding dream a reality. She arranged flowers, dj services, photographer, catering, a taco and churro cart, mariachi band, and even a snorkeling/boat trip as our thank you gift for our guest. She assisted in coordinating hotels (Vallarta Shores and Grand Miramar Resort) and a huge villa (Villa Azul) for the rest our family and friends. I would recommend Robin and Vallarta Vows again and again!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great wedding just last week, thanks to Robin and her team. Our experience started last year, when Robin was the only planner in the area to respond to us, probably due to our smaller-sized budget. She scheduled a meeting with us when we were in PV, presented clear options for food, music, services, etc., and then we were on our way. Over the year we had occasional e-mail contact to clarify a few things, and everything went smoothly last Tuesday. The flowers were just what we had asked for, the food was delicious, and the guitar duo was outstanding. During the course of the evening, Robin made sure everyone knew where they needed to be, and interacted with the house staff (she brings her own) to make sure that no toes were stepped on, and that everyone was happy. Although we had a few hiccups with texts/e-mails, Robin is fabulous in person, and ultimately delivers an excellent product. She is kind, respectful, wry, and will steer you in a logical way without seeming pushy. All of our friends and family commented on what a wonderful evening it was, and neither of us would've changed a thing. Gracias, Robin!

The hair and makeup ladies were very professional and did exactly what I wanted. The photographer was GREAT! We planned a trip with our 5 children to Puerta Vallarta and I worked with Robin for a month before hand to create a celebration that would be special for the whole family! We had a wonderful experience with Robin and her photographer and the ceremony was just perfect for our family. She incorporated our family into the ceremony and made it an experience for all. Robin is organized, attentive and clear throughout the process and the event. She was great to work with and build great confidence right from the start!

Experiencia fantástica: Glad we found Robin. We had a small group and as we were getting close to our date we couldn't find anyone to do our wedding. Weddings at the resort we were at were way overpriced and would only do a wedding for a group larger than ours (we had a group of 8 including my wife and I). We found Robin and she was more than happy to work with our small group. We wanted a small private beach ceremony and she put it all together for us, including beach location, photos, and a dinner reservation in town afterward. Everything went perfect! Thank you Robin!
